Karin Beviere DCH RCSHom CCH(c) Homeopathic Practitioner
What do these those initials mean? The DCH is for my diploma in Classical Homeopathy which I earned in 2004 after completing a 4 year professional practioner program. Homeopaths study anatomy, physiology, and pathology in addition to clinical hours, materia medica, case-taking and analysis. In BC, Homeopaths are not regulated like physiotherapists or massage therapists, so I have chosen to register with the Canadian Society of Homeopaths (RCSHom), whose mandate requires high standards of practice for its members. I am also in the process of certifying with the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CCHc) in the United States.
I love teaching homeopathy to new users and I've facilitated seminars on its uses for women and children's health, depression and anxiety, infectious disease, and first aid, as well as extended study groups. Natural, holistic medicine that moms can safely give their kids and not worry about side effects is available, and I want people to reach for homeopathy first before before resorting to unecessary, chemical medicine that's hard on bodies and hard on the earth. My goal is to empower people to confidently bring homeopathy into their everyday health care.
